Additional Information

  • MS in Computer Science, Plan A, Plan B, and MCS programs are available at statewide campuses throughout Utah via USU's Distance Education program.
  • Departmental funding (Graduate Teaching Assistantships) consideration is available for FALL intake only, and only available in the following programs: MS/CS, Plan A, DS/MS, Plan A, and PhD in Computer Science.
  • Admission Requirements are in addition to USU’s School of Graduate Studies' admissions requirements, which are: 
    • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    • A 3.0 GPA for the last 60 semester credits
    • (International applicants) A TOEFL score of 79 or an IELTS score of 6.0 overall and 5.0 on each subscale
    • Three satisfactory Letters of Recommendation
  • PhD credit requirements are dependent upon CS courses in prior MS degree.
