The goal of this project is to support schema-less change detection in an observant system. An observant system is a system that has read access to data but lacks write access, or may have only very limited write access. Change detection is the the process of detecting changes in successive version of an observed document. We proposed a technique that does not require the precense of a schema, so it can work for any evolving XML document. The Java source and testing code (with Perl scripts to generate documents) is available final.tar.gz.
