Application Guidelines

The application deadline is March 1, 2012. An application must be submitted electronically.

Application Checklist:
  • The Bug Wars REU application (two pages).
  • Two recommendation letters from professors in your major (these may be e-mailed).
  • Scanned transcript(s) evaluating university and college studies to date.

    Please Note:
    1. All applications will be reviewed. Applicants will be notified of the decision for inclusion in the program by March 15, 2012.
    2. Successful applicants must complete and sign a Participation Agreement form prior to starting the program.
    3. Each REU participant must commit to participate in assessment activities at both the USU REU Site and their home institutions after the REU experience.
