Ph.D. Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, (or closely related field).
- 80th percentile on the quantitative portion of the GRE.
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or Graduate GPA of 3.50.
- Each Ph.D. applicant must have sponsorship by a member of the faculty. However, this does not necessarily mean they will have funding for the student
All students who want to be considered for financial aid: Feb 1
International students without being considered for financial aid: May 1
Domestic students without being considered for financial aid: June 15
Spring admissions deadline:
All students: October 15

The Computer Science Department is proudly offering one Presidential Doctoral Research Fellowship (PDRF) to an outstanding graduate student who is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science starting Fall 2018. If you are interested in applying for a PDRF, please contact a CS faculty member whom you want to work with to see whether he or she is willing to supervise you as you pursue your Ph.D. at Utah State University. He or she will help you to get your application materials submitted.
